Red, White, and Royal Blue Book Review

This is hands down one of my very favorite books. In the beginning, we meet Alex. He is the president's son, the first female president's son. He is also the 20-year-old heartthrob of America and has just about every girl dreaming of being his next date. Alex’s family consists of his mother, his older sister, ⅓ of the White House Trio, June, and his other best friend, Nora, the final piece to their beloved triad. Alex and Nora would sporadically date, but never with any serious feelings. However, one of the strongest feelings Alex has ever had was not love but hate for Henry. Henry is not exactly normal, in fact, he is not at all normal. He is the Prince of England. Alex and Henry had met many years back at the Olympics, and ever since their encounter in Rio had been arch rivals and despised every little thing about the other...but everyone knows that there is a very thin line between hate and love.

Come along for the journey as Alex and Henry embark on an incredibly challenging, yet sincere love story and see what lengths they are willing to go and sacrifices they are willing to make for one another. This book is not only an epic romance novel with bits that will make you cry with laughter, but it also conveys the very real hardships both of these men must go through while discovering who they are together and as individuals. I strongly suggest giving this book a read because once you start, there is no going back.

According to GoodReads.com, Red, White, and Royal Blue has a 4.5-star rating which, though amazing, does not nearly justify this incredible novel. You should just read it and see for yourself! (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/41150487-red-white-royal-blue)

Some side notes: This book is a book for young adults due to sexual content and language. You can buy it on Amazon, listen to it on Audible, or read it on a Kindle if you prefer!

Thanks for this review, Ruby! I can't wait to check it out! Here are two more ways to find the book: The Village Well is a new independent book store in Culver City that I love, and the app Libby lets you borrow audiobook and eBooks for free if you have a library card through the Los Angeles Public Library!
